Lupus Imaging & Media is a member of various associations and organizations. Enclosed an overview of the most important associations and organizations:
The SD Association is a global ecosystem of companies setting industry-leading memory card standards that simplify the use and extend the life of consumer electronics, including mobile phones, for millions of people every day. The Association does not manufacture, market or sell any product; it exists to create standards and then promote the adoption, advancement and use of SD standards used by competing product manufacturers that make interoperable memory cards and devices.
Photoindustrie-Verband – The Imaging Association – is the strong performing, cross-sector organization of manufacturers and service providers in photo and imaging. Photoindustrie-Verband represents the issue-specific and political interests of the entire photo and imaging industry at national and European levels and worldwide within photokina. The association promotes the image of the industry as whole; this also reflects positively on the individual member companies. The sustainable and market-oriented activities of Photoindustrie-Verband decisively contribute to the future development of the overall market and to the development of new markets.
The Informationskreis AufnahmeMedien (IM; information group for recording media) has represented the interests of manufacturers and importers of analogue and/or digital storage media since 1985, and since the introduction of flat-rate copyright payments for image and sound media in 1985 has been the independent party to the full contract in respect of the Zentralstelle für private Überspielungsrechte (ZPÜ – central office for private copying rights) in Munich. The IM companies maintain regular contacts to the federal government, federal states and federal parliament as well as to organs at European level, in order to appropriately represent its interests in connection with copyright payment systems in legal and political discussions.
